Early Childhood Teacher and Assistant Educators Required

Kids On Mullum Child Care Centre in Ringwood, VIC.

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced, passionate, trained Early Childhood Teacher to lead our 3-year-old groups of children in our long day care centre in Ringwood.

We also have opportunities for Certificate III trained educators to join our team and work alongside our experienced and committed educators.

Our centre is dedicated to the education and care of young children. You will be joining a reputable and quality Child Care Centre group, with a team of professional educators who work cohesively together.

You will have a passion and a commitment to a learning approach which focuses on facilitating a child's capacity to engage in an environment that is safe, secure, nurturing and educational. Both parents and children's needs and interests will be developed with opportunities for learning being the focal point of program delivery.

For the correct candidates, this position will be 5 days a week PPT.

Our centre operations are based on the VEYLDF, NQS, play based learning programs incorporating portfolios as the method of planning.

Selection Criteria

1. You will have a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent. (Certificate III or equivalent for assistant educator roles)

2. You will demonstrate a professional level of written and verbal communication.

3. First Aid certificate and Anaphylaxis and Asthma training.

4. Full or Probationary VIT registration. (Or current WWCC for assistant educator roles)

5. Experience with the NQS, VEYLDF, and experience in long day care are essential.

6. Candidates that have experience with Assessment and Rating would also be looked upon in a favourable light.
